General rental conditions

Article 1 – Purpose of the contract

The purpose of the general terms and conditions of seasonal rental is to define the terms and conditions for making the accommodation available to the tenant for the duration and under the conditions defined below.

These terms and conditions apply to all properties offered for rent. Certain clauses are subject to specific adaptations for Le Palat, as specified in the relevant articles.

Article 2 – Length of stay

The present contract is concluded for a fixed term. The tenant may in no way claim the right to remain in the premises at the end of the rental period.

Article 3 – Booking and payment

Reservations are made directly via our website. It becomes effective on receipt of full payment, including overnight stays, housekeeping and tourist tax. A detailed summary is provided upon validation.

Article 4 – Warranty

For houses (Armens, Galet, St Andrews), a bank imprint of €1,000 is required as a guarantee. This is done via a secure link two days before arrival. No amount will be debited except in the event of damage or non-compliance with the house rules. Access to accommodation may be refused in the absence of a bank imprint. The tenant is responsible for any damage caused by himself or by persons accompanying him. The footprint is released after the premises have been checked.

No guarantee is required for Le Palat.

Article 5 – Cancellation conditions

For homes :

Up to 30 days before arrival: free cancellation
Between 30 and 15 days: 50% refund
Less than 15 days: no refund

For Le Palat :

Up to 48 hours before arrival: free cancellation
Less than 48 hours: first night charged

Article 6 – Cancellation by the owner

In the event of cancellation by the owner, all sums paid by the tenant will be refunded.

Article 7 – Arrivals and departures

For houses: arrival between 5pm and 7pm at the address indicated. The tenant must inform us in case of late arrival; an autonomous entry can be proposed only in case of exception, such as an unexpected late arrival or outside the standard hours. An inventory of fixtures is carried out in person on arrival and departure. Departure must be before 10am. In the event of unauthorized late departure, a 10% deduction may be applied to the footprint.

For Le Palat: arrival from 3pm and departure before 11am. There is no formal inventory of fixtures, unless specifically requested.

Article 8 – Capacity

The number of guests may not exceed the number specified at the time of booking. Any undeclared person may result in additional charges or cancellation of the stay.

Article 9 – Supplies and equipment

The houses are fully-equipped furnished tourist accommodations. They come with full kitchen equipment, crockery, bed linen and towels. The number of garden furniture or deckchairs may vary according to the number of people staying. The tenant must respect the facilities and refrain from throwing any object that could damage them. Any furniture that has been moved must be replaced.

The Palat is equipped with a bed, private bathroom, bed linen and towels, but does not have a kitchen.

Article 10 – Housekeeping

Cleaning is included. However, the accommodation must be left in good condition (rubbish emptied, dishes clean and tidy).

In the event of manifest non-compliance, a 10% deduction from the print may be applied.

Article 11 – Internal regulations

Quietness, neighborhood and accommodation must be respected. Furniture and equipment must be used normally.

Inappropriate use or damage may result in a deduction from the bank imprint. Parties and events are not permitted without authorization.

The accommodation is non-smoking.

Article 12 – Liability and insurance

The tenant occupies the premises at his own risk. The owner and manager decline all responsibility in the event of accident or personal injury, except in the case of proven fault.

It is the tenant’s responsibility to take out civil liability insurance to cover any damage caused during his stay.

The pool’s safety system complies with current regulations. However, the pool is not supervised. It is the tenant’s responsibility to take all necessary precautions for its use, particularly in the presence of young children, who must be supervised at all times.
